Late-night eating in Stockholm is a relative term – Swedes eat early, which means finding something to eat after 10pm, even on the weekends, can sometimes be a challenge. On the other hand what is on offer is pretty great – from fine dining at some of Stockholm’s premier eateries to slabs of meat fresh from the grill to delicate seafood complimented by the perfect sauce. Enjoy your late-night feast in Stockholm!
1. Rolfs Kök
Bistro, Restaurant, Swedish
Rolfs Kök is a Stockholm institution that leans towards classic French. This means everything from pig’s head to lobster thermidor to caviar. While the caviar will cost you plenty, most of the menu is reasonably priced. And the atmosphere? Wonderfully lively.
2. Café 60
Cafe, Vegetarian
Known for its superb warm pies, delicious sandwiches, and pastry as big as your head, Café 60 draws plenty of late-night traffic due to both its location and its offerings. While plenty of Stockholm’s hipsters are on hand there’s also a healthy sprinkling of ‘regular’ people.
3. Grill

The name is a clue but it doesn’t tell the whole story. Certainly there is plenty of hearty grilled meat on the menu but there is also sushi and fish, as well as pasta. One of Stockholm’s most popular central restaurants, Grill offers a great atmosphere, top service, and excellent eats – and the wine list is pretty good as well.
4. Sybilla
Food Kiosk, Restaurant, Fast Food, Street Food
Sometimes, after some fun down the pub, all you want is a burger. Or maybe it’s a hotdog (korv) you’re after, served up with… mashed potatoes. Either way, Sybilla is one of Sweden’s most long-standing fast-food chains and it offers delicious burgers and fries, hot dogs, and various other late-night food you might regret in the morning.
5. Nybrogatan 38
Restaurant, Mediterranean
Carbs or breakfast? It’s not easy to decide which will satisfy more right around midnight, which is why Nybrogatan 38 is the perfect choice, particularly since it’s a rare Stockholm restaurant serving breakfast food at any time of the day. There is also plenty of meat and fish to choose from.

6. Operakällaren
Restaurant, European, Swedish
It’s one of Stockholm’s finest of fine dining restaurants and the good news is that it’s right next door to Café Opera, one of the city’s coolest clubs. There are several restaurants within Operakälleren and while some are less pricey than others let’s be honest: this isn’t for those on a budget.
7. Indian Street Food & Co

There aren’t many Indian restaurants in Stockholm so the city couldn’t have been happier when Indian Street Food & Co opened, particularly because the food was outstanding right from the get go. Now expanding beyond its humble food truck roots this might just be the best late-night food Stockholm has to offer.
