Our Review

Editor's Rating
Adrian Homes Adrian, GA Modular Home Builder (3)
Editorial ReviewAdrian Homes offered custom modular homes as well as manufactured (mobile) homes. They focused on single story residential homes but had some two story home plans. Their modular homes were true off-frame units and not repurposed mobile homes. Unlike other manufacturers their main focus was modular homes and their second focus was mobile homes. Their website had basic information and floorplans but was light on specific details.

Personal Reviews of Adrian Homes

Save your money, anything that can go wrong has. Cracks in the sheetrock, floors squeaking and uneven, leaking around the dormers, etc. The roof had to be replaced. This house was my husband's idea not mine.

We have been living in our home for 10 years. We went to replace our bathroom floor due to water damage and found they did not install a subfloor. Poor quality construction. No wonder they are not in business.

I bought my home in 05 and it's an 03 model. I have had trouble with whole sheets of shingles falling off my home and not where it was put together. I have filed three insurance claims to have the roof repaired but they won't pay because they say all of the shingles were high nailed. Policy won't cover improper installation. Also continuous battle with sheetrock cracking and crown molding since day one.

The exterior on my home does have sheathing. But it is not a wood product .Looks like thin compressed cardboard waterproofed on one side with vinyl siding on the exterior.Kind of scarey. In my opinion for the money I paid,it should have been built better.

We purchased an Adrian home in 2008. The dealer advised us at the time to pay the extra money to have a set-up crew familiar with these homes to do the install, which we did. By hiring the correct people to finish this home, we have no issues with doors, windows, flooring or the other problems people are complaining about. The home is insulated better than a block home, construction is solid and the wind rating of 130mph makes us feel secure. It is all in having a good contractor prepare the site for correct drainage and finish the home, just like anything else, correctly.

Less than 4 years old , nail heads are coming up thru the tile . Particle board sections are uneven . Crown molding is absolutely awful looking . Great home at a glance , just don't looks closely . Will give Aiken Housing one more chance to 'make this right.

Going on 6 years in my Adrain Home, So far minor complaints. Nothing is leaking. I do regular inspections of the roof to make sure no leaks. Having issue with the windows from Kinro that were installed. Kinro windows are crap and I have told them that. All my windows, 17 of them are hazing over. cant wait to replace them with Jeld Wen. I did have a wall stud 2x6 warp in the wall in the kitchen causing the wall to pull away from the counter top. I think I will wait till a kitchen remodel to address that issue.

We have been in our new Mod' since Nov.'09 . We have received many promises to correct the many problems with our home. We paid WELL over $200,000. so you can't say that we 'went cheap'. Earl was here for one day , promised to return numerous times but has NOT !! I suggest that if you decide to buy from Adrian that you put $5,000. -$10,000. in escro until they Finish your home.

I have been in home construction a long time and somehow was persuaded to buy this home from someone. There is no exterior wall sheathing, which will cost me thousands along with very inadequate insulation. There is many, many things that were done to save money and cut corners. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at ll cost. Don't even consider it. I have not discussed anything with the builder of this home. It is a shame too that the home is built so bad. I purchased it in 2006 and it was built in 2002, so it was only 4 years old when I purchased it

My wife and I bought a home from this company and had it on site July of 2009. From the start we have had nothing but trouble. The attic insulation was almost completely gone. Our water lines were crossed mixing hot water and cold water together. Windows leaked from the start and the local dealer in Thomasville Ga could care less about anything after he got you to sign the paperwork. Hope you sleep well at night.

I purchased the T-Ranch modular home in 2003. The door frame at the entrance to the laundry room is rotten out to the wall, the molding on the insise has separated from day one, and the telephone number for adrian homes is not an accurate number; therefore, I am unable to contact them concerning this huge mess at my back door.

Adrian Homes Adrian, GA Modular Home Builder (19)Chris from Fort Myers,FL

This home was very poorly constructed. All of interior doors were not level. There are areas through out the house that are un-level. Don't know what kind of paper that they install under the shigles but I have never seen paper (looks like a brown grocery bag) Used for drying in a roof. If this house was built in Florida, it never would of passed a single inspection.

Buyer beware! Adrian does not stand behind it's product. Once you buy you are on your own. Had a 1 year warranty when we purchased our home in December 09. They refuse to honor the warranty. Again, BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Adrian Homes Adrian, GA Modular Home Builder (21)M Garner from Asheboro NC

All those things should have been handled and done by the setup crew which is hired by the dealer. When folks don't want to pay for things and want a cheaper price they get cheap labor. Thus the reason China now makes almost everything. Adrian builds a good product and is very competitive in price. I'd like to sell their homes too.

we have been in the house for 8 years and had trouble from the start. With setup doors sticking ,water in the crawl space and the roof been leaking from the first day .The dealer is no longer in bussness, so I had no luck getting things fix. but if you buiy a home make sure the dealer is factory dealer .
